🤔When should I bring my diving equipment in for inspection?

If you have a trip in the next few weeks, bring your equipment in for inspection first for safety. You can come and check with the shop for free. Just make an appointment in advance. However, if you need to service and use the equipment to open for maintenance, we recommend changing the internal parts as specified by the manufacturer for your diving safety.

🔎Symptoms that should be checked
Regulator

The regulator is not breathing smoothly, supplies thick air, requires more force than usual to inhale air.

There is an air leak at any point from the regulator (First Stage, Second Stage, Alternate Air-source (Octopus), Pressure Guage, Inflator, air leaking from the hose)

The regulator hose is cracked.

The metal/aluminum components start to have scale, rust, or green rust.

Water enters the diving equipment This may be caused by usage, changing tanks during diving, using up all the air underwater, or cleaning and storing.

The equipment has not been dived for more than 1 year.

The manufacturer's maintenance cycle or 100 dives, whichever comes first.

Buy second-hand diving equipment, regardless of whether the seller has stated that it has been serviced or not.

BCD

Low Pressure Inflator runaway or auto-inflate during Pre-dive Check or during diving.
